Secretary LaVelle reported to the Orange County Board of Ethics that the office expects 420 Annual Statement of Financial Disclosure forms to be filed in 2026 and that 17 forms have been received so far this year. Of those 17, six are under Board review, five are waiting for review, and six were sent back to filers for corrections; two filings from 2024 remain outstanding.
The update was delivered during the Board’s Jan. 22 meeting. Secretary LaVelle framed the figures as part of the Board’s ongoing collection and compliance work; Board members did not propose changes to the filing deadline at this meeting. The Board recorded these numbers as the operational baseline for follow-up compliance work ahead of the next filing cycle.
