At an informational agenda item the commission considered CUP 500, a conditional use permit application from Front Gate Holdings for a communications tower behind storage units near Highway 85 and Camp Comfort Road. The staff member explained the county must approve the conditional use permit before the city issues a building permit.
Ryan Straff, representing Vertical Bridge (the tower company), said the proposal "is a pretty basic, tower addition to cover a gap in service, to add some additional, quality of service and enhancing e 9 in 1 services." Commissioners confirmed notice and a sign had been posted and scheduled the CUP for the April 2 public hearing so neighbors can comment.
