Council members approved Resolution No. 22‑2025/26 on Feb. 19, designating six CPSTIII‑A projects totaling $813,118 and a CPSTIII‑B project of $1,071,000 for a combined $1,884,118 under the authority of Ordinance 16‑2023/24 Section 2.02. County Administrator Kevin Yokim told council the designations follow the ordinance's mechanism for allocating CPST III excess funds.
Yokim and CPST III Engineer Todd Warren provided a detailed construction status update by district: 267 of 346 road district projects have been completed; multiple roads in Districts 1, 5 and 9 are under construction or nearly complete; Montclair Way appraisal is complete and the SCDOT encroachment permit has been approved for that project. Bids for several town and district resurfacing contracts were noted as awarded or pending, and municipal reimbursements (Johnsonville, Scranton, Coward, Pamplico) were being processed as invoices were received. The council approved the resolution unanimously.
