Community Services reports SAFE Act submission, AOT caseload and OASIS audit selection; navigator hired

Community Services Director Lisa Principio presented program updates to the committee and the report was accepted as information.
Principio said the department had one SAFE Act report (one sent to the Division of Criminal Justice Services), an AOT caseload of one current case with no investigations, and enhanced coordination efforts for AOT and Enhanced Voluntary Agreements (EVA). Fiscal staff updates were positive and the Senior Account Clerk Typist was reported to be doing well. Yates County was selected for an audit related to OASIS opioid-settlement funding. Principio also announced the hire of a Court-Based Mental Health Navigator and that mentoring and prevention programs continue under the Yates Prevention Coalition.
The committee accepted the report as information; next steps include responding to the OASIS audit and onboarding the navigator.
