Kellett and Bear Prairie named to Energy Conservation Works Board

During the Jan. 26 joint meeting, the County and Town appointed Jessica Kellett and Bear Prairie to partial terms on the Energy Conservation Works Board. The partial terms expire June 30, 2026 (Kellett) and June 30, 2027 (Bear Prairie).
On behalf of the County, Commissioner Len Carlman moved and Commissioner Wes Gardner seconded the appointments; Chair Newcomb called the vote and it carried with all county members in favor. The Town followed with a matching motion (Councilmember Jonathan Schechter, seconded by Councilmember Alyson Spery) and a 4-0 Town vote in favor. Candidates for ECW had been listed earlier in the meeting and included multiple applicants.
