Ampliform reintroduces proposed solar project, schedules Dec. 3 community meeting

Bobby Rodriguez, representing Ampliform and the proposed solar project for Lou Jones, reintroduced the developer to the Board of Supervisors and previewed the firm's community engagement plan ahead of a scheduled December hearing. "We're bringing subject matter experts so we can demonstrate the research that we've done and show that we're committed to producing the best project possible," Rodriguez said.
Rodriguez announced a second community meeting on Dec. 3 (5:30–7 p.m. at the Rocky Run Rorton Club) and invited board members and neighbors to review materials and ask questions; he also offered one-on-one meetings for supervisors between the meeting and the project's hearing. The presentation was introductory; Ampliform told the board it will present detailed materials and experts at the December meeting to address visibility, noise and other neighborhood concerns raised at earlier town halls.
The board thanked Rodriguez for outreach and noted Supervisor Dan Lee's responsiveness in early conversations; no action was taken at the Nov. 18 meeting beyond accepting the public comment.
