Board adopts revised fee schedule; small rate increase set for Feb. 1, 2026

The board voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 2026-01 approving revisions to the district fee schedule. Trustee David Olson moved to approve the resolution and Jon “Otto” Blum seconded; the vote was recorded as 7-0 in favor.
Acting GM Vince Pao-Borjigin reviewed the proposed rate and fee changes required to support the district’s planned water improvements. He noted a presentation typo: the accessory dwelling unit (ADU) fee listed for 2028 should be $151.00. Trustees were told the first rate change for customers will increase the base from $109 to $112 effective Feb. 1, 2026, and that the first bond payment is scheduled to occur after project completion. A public notice of the adopted rate and fee was posted the day after the meeting.
