The court also approved an election software update (Verity) to be scheduled after July so acceptance testing can occur before the November general election.
Sheriff's office representatives described a first responders mental‑health grant opportunity for $10,000 with a 20% match ($2,000). Sergeant Bechtel said the county’s wellness team reimburses officers for counseling and organizes retreats; commissioners pledged to identify the local match through the FY26 budget process and approved applying for the grant 5‑0.
