Teton County OKs $158,792 agreement with UW Haub School to develop ecosystem health indicators

Ryan Hostetter, principal joint long range planner, presented an agreement with the University of Wyoming Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources to develop ecosystem health indicators for the county’s Comprehensive Plan Chapter 1. The board approved the agreement in an amount not to exceed $158,792.50 and voted to approve a FY26 budget amendment of $48,698 (half of year 1) to begin work this fiscal year; the remainder will be requested in FY27.
Hostetter answered commissioners’ questions during the presentation; there was no public comment. The contract directs the Haub School to develop indicators that will inform the Comprehensive Plan update; staff will request the remaining funding in the FY27 budget process.
