County GIS technician reports 14 new address points; ESN/MSAG workarounds in progress

Zachary Ferrara, the county GIS technician, told the board that “As of right now, we have 14 new address points that have been added to the county records.” He said the GIS team is continuously working with planning and zoning to correct zoning areas across the county and that those datasets are being updated.
Ferrara said the department is working with NGA to update the county’s ESN and MSAG information and that staff have found a workaround to obtain some of that data. He asked the board for questions and noted he expects to finish the NGA‑related updates soon.
