Board awaiting revised Verizon amendment; Lamoille upgrades to proceed after signature

Kenny (speaker S6) said the district revised Verizon's proposed amendment to explicitly include road‑damage and liability language in the amendment rather than in email, and that Verizon was expected to return the change for review. "We replied back to Verizon telling them we don't want it in the email. We want it actually in the amendment," Kenny said.
Once the amendment is returned the board will proofread it and forward it to Chairman Dale for a digital signature so the Lamoille Summit upgrade can proceed. The district plans to add preconstruction engineering oversight and a formal closeout process to ensure quality and put any remaining punch‑list items on a documented list for completion.
