Treasurer Ken (speaker S8) told the board the district’s cash position is healthy, reporting "We've got about 600 cash in the Nevada checking account" and noting expenses are at roughly 84% of budget while capital outlay sits at about 50% of budgeted levels. He summarized that, despite planned budget figures, the district is currently showing about $153,000 in the black versus a projected balance of $77,000.
Board members thanked Ken and moved to approve and ratify the treasurer’s report as read. The report included page references and a brief discussion of upcoming capital projects that are expected to increase capital outlay spending in the spring; members said they will revisit projections as projects start.
