Council hears progress report on goals; staff cites park projects and ERU release timing

Staff reported Deerpointe Park construction is complete and a construction contract has been signed for work at Mindpark to finish later this summer. The council adopted a Development Allocation Program (DAP) in May and last week the facility plan amendment for wastewater was adopted; staff said remaining wastewater projects (UV upgrades, North Side pump station, equalization basin expansion and related work) are actively progressing and are expected to free 190 ERUs by this fall.
Staff identified near-term council work including the Pleasant Street master plan (scheduled for September) and a municipal code update for consistent infraction classifications (expected in August). The update included mention of a pavement condition index published online and plans to bring a second pavement resurfacing package this summer. No formal action was requested; staff said it would return with further updates as projects progress.
