At the April 3 meeting the Porter Board of Trustees voted to amend Resolution #2021-1 and lift the moratorium on sale of grave spaces located in Sections B, C, D, E, F, G, I and J of Greenwood Cemetery.
Mayor Bradah Littlefield said Joe and Melissa VanTuyl had requested to purchase grave spaces in Section I, which is within the older portion of the cemetery previously covered by the moratorium. Norma Meyer moved to approve lifting the moratorium so the VanTuyl request could proceed; Kristin Eaton seconded. The board voted unanimously in favor.
The minutes record the board’s motion and unanimous vote; no additional conditions or sale terms were specified in the meeting record.
