Porter Public Works Authority elects Steve Dickey chairman, Norma Meyer vice-chair

Steve Dickey was elected chairman of the Porter Public Works Authority in a unanimous vote during the authority’s May 8, 2025 meeting. Norma Meyer nominated Dickey; Kevin Walker seconded, and all four members present voted yes.
Meyer was then elected vice-chair after a nomination by Dickey and a second from Walker; that vote was unanimous as well. The minutes record that Dickey and Walker had been elected to the Board in the municipal election on April 1, 2025, and had taken the oath of office and the loyalty oath before the meeting began.
The elections were conducted at the start of the regular meeting, which was called to order at 6:25 p.m. by Dickey. The Board’s roll call showed Bradah Littlefield, Steve Dickey, Norma Meyer and Kevin Walker present; Kristin Easton was absent.
