Porter board accepts completion of wastewater treatment plant improvement project

The Porter Board of Trustees on April 3 approved Resolution #2025-2 accepting the completed 18624 CDBG 22 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project and authorized final payment to Downey Contracting LLC and the Indian Nations Council of Governments (INCOG).
Darrin Kramer, a representative of INCOG, told the board that “the 18624 CDBG 22 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project has been completed.” Mayor Bradah Littlefield moved to approve the resolution; Kristin Eaton seconded. The board voted unanimously in favor.
The board also authorized the mayor to execute closeout documents for the project. The acceptance and closeout will be incorporated into the town’s application to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, which the board expects to file on or around May 1, 2025. The motion and the authorization were recorded in the board minutes.
