The Town of Porter board voted Feb. 6 to purchase furniture for the Civic Center: two round tables, one small 30 x 72-inch rectangular table and one large 30 x 96-inch rectangular table. Whitney Littlefield moved the purchase; Clifford Marshall Jr. seconded and the motion passed with all present voting yes.
Separately, under new business the board discussed posting a sign on the Civic Center thermostat telling renters to set the thermostat back to 65 degrees before leaving. The minutes record the discussion but do not show a formal motion to adopt signage; staff follow-up was implied.
