Tim Clark was reelected president of the Brown County Commissioners on Jan. 7 after a nomination moved by Commissioner Kevin Patrick and seconded on the floor. The motion to keep Clark as president passed 2–1 on a roll-call vote (Tim Clark yes; Ron Sanders no; Kevin Patrick yes).
The commissioners immediately nominated Kevin Patrick as vice president; that motion also passed 2–1 with the same roll-call pattern. Julia Reeves presided over nominations. After the leadership votes, the board unanimously voted to retain commissioner assignments to outside boards and committees for the coming year (Tim Clark: EMA, Public Records, Finance Committee; Kevin Patrick: Workforce Development, Child Protection Team, JRAC; Ron Sanders: Maple Leaf Management Group; all on Solid Waste Board).
