The board approved a memorandum of understanding allowing Vitality Unlimited to deliver peer recovery support services, observed urine drug screening and medication-assisted therapy to referred specialty-court participants. County staff described the MOU as part of the grant-funded implementation of the mental-health-court program and said Vitality may bill participants or their insurance for services rendered.
Commissioners moved and approved the MOU. The interlocal and contractor arrangements are intended to link clinical and peer services to specialty court operations without direct county payments to the contractor under the grant terms.
