Chief Meredith McGovern highlighted a December graduation of the Building Bridges five-day program for youth affected by gun violence and said the FLY Car program — which prioritizes medical calls and follows EMS channels — will add a second vehicle in the coming weeks. On Corrections, Colonel Lawrence Catletti reported a morning headcount of 414 and stated the facility’s total bed count is 802. Catletti told the committee the facility closed out the year with "boarder revenue" of $7,521,474.00, currently has 14 vacancies (expected to rise to 20 by month-end), and that onsite education hours show as zero because in-person providers such as Orange‑Ulster BOCES are not currently providing onsite staff; inmates access tablet-based programs and there is an in-house GED program.
