The Kendall County Commissioners on March 24 voted unanimously to authorize creation of a private family cemetery at 10102 Johns Road at the request of property owner William Vaughn Mansman II. County staff said the parcel lies more than one mile outside Boerne city limits and the request was made under section 711 of the Texas Health and Safety Code; the court signed the order and certification of dedication.
Commissioner McCall moved to adopt the order; Commissioner Carpenter seconded and the motion passed 5–0. The county indicated it had a survey locating the proposed cemetery and that both the order and the certification of dedication would be signed by court members that day.
