Jameson provided a schedule update on Brooklyn Phase 1: paving work began Feb. 15 on Brookwind and the remaining Brookwind Drive paving is scheduled March 5–April 15. He said Fairbrook Lane intersection work ran Feb. 16–19 and noted the project’s target substantial completion date is April 25, with final work and demobilization expected in May–June.
On restoration, Jameson said crews are restoring driveways (targeting three driveways every two days) and will resume sodding when temperatures permit. "We're probably 3 months left of that — May, June, we're looking to be out of there with phase 1," he said. Committee members asked about grade transitions and contractor performance; Jameson reported satisfaction with the contractor’s customer communication and quality and noted the city uses a post-project scorecard to document contractor performance for future procurements.
Next steps include confirming driveway slope tolerances relative to Fairmont design and tracking the phase 2 transition once the interlocal agreement is approved by county court.
