Officials say Shore Acres would be folded into La Porte patrol districts; no substation planned now

"This, if consolidation happens, it would be added to, that closest patrol district, and it would just become part of our regular, patrol in that particular district," a city official said. Mayor Hilton and others stressed that community-policing activities Shore Acres residents value might change if consolidation occurs.
