LEPC reports grants totaling $63,752 and equipment orders for radios, SCBA and Starlink

Daniel Hassett reviewed the committee's current grant status and recent purchases. He said a State Emergency Response Commission grant awarded $32,000 to buy five portable radios, three mobile Harris radios and 12 SCBA bottles; 12 SCBA bottles were received and $14,988 was paid. An order confirmation was received for eight Harris radios totaling $19,674.74 but the radios had not yet been delivered.
Hassett also noted a United Way grant of $31,752 to purchase Starlink communications equipment and additional SCBA items: 16 SCBA bottles were received and $20,000 paid; 18 SCBA masks were received and $67.50 paid. He said the Starlink equipment would be ordered soon.
