The officials sworn in were Cindy Thompson as Northern Commissioner; David Ferry as county coroner; Kelsey Westerhold as public administrator; John Shorten as Southern Commissioner; Brent Banes as county treasurer/collector; and Mike Buehler as county sheriff.
Carrie Poe, the circuit clerk, also administered the oath to Mike Buehler. The commission record for Dec. 24 notes that Sheriff Buehler then introduced his command staff to the commissioners. No formal personnel action relating to those introductions is recorded in the minutes.
