Board votes to call school board election; approves facility use and policy updates

The Prue Public Schools Board of Education voted unanimously on several action items at its Oct. 14 meeting. The board also approved use of the cafeteria by the Owens family on Nov. 28 and Dec. 21 (motion by Bethanie Horton, second by James Willcox), approved policy BE (Board of Education Meetings and Notification Procedures) and DECA (Standards of Performance and Conduct for Teachers) (motion by James Willcox, second by Heather Jordan), and authorized a vendor-name change on PO #19 from "Perry W. Evans, Jr. DO, PC" to "OSU Medical Group" (motion by Bethanie Horton, second by Heather Jordan). All votes were recorded as unanimous roll call approvals.
