The Eagle Design Review Board voted to approve a 4,940‑square‑foot addition to the Eagle Vision 1 building at 355 S. Eagle Road, after hearing a presentation from the applicant and staff and after a brief board review of materials and landscaping revisions. The approval included board modifications to site‑specific conditions recommended by staff.
Rob Powell of Dave Evans Construction said the addition will be consistent with the existing Prairie School–style building and include new parking and landscape adjustments. "We're pleased to to present this project here," Powell said, adding the addition includes some two‑story elements and that the team had submitted revised landscaping that adds evergreen plantings and tree mitigation. Planning staff noted the applicant proposed seven 3‑inch‑caliper trees to meet 21 inches of mitigation (staff required 20 caliper inches). The board struck conditional language so that the city’s approval of tree removal and the applicant’s mitigation would be definitive, and it approved the application by voice vote.
