The assessor explained the report documents every change from Jan. 1 to June 30 — new parcels, property inactivations, new construction, exemptions and reductions. The assessor highlighted a substantial valuation entry (Sandvik moving into the city) and confirmed that partial exemptions are available for veterans and disabled veterans; she said a previous exemption for seniors was removed by the state and no longer applies.
Commissioners requested a redline or highlighted version next year to make year‑over‑year changes easier to review. Following discussion, the board voted to accept the assessment roll log as presented.
