Coosa County moves excess FY24 jail funds to FY25 budget; retirement and firearm actions tabled

The Coosa County Commission unanimously approved moving excess funds from the FY24 jail budget into line 113 of the FY25 jail budget. Commissioner Bertha K. McElrath moved the transfer; Commissioner John Forbus seconded the motion, which the minutes record as approved 4–0.
Separately, a planned presentation to Jail Administrator Mike Mull of his badge and firearm upon retirement was tabled, as was a motion to remove a firearm (Serial #BYLU010) from inventory. Commissioner Ronnie Joiner moved to table the retirement presentation; Commissioner McElrath seconded. Both tabling motions were recorded as unanimous.
