Council renews FY2027 social service funding agreements with same amounts as prior year

City administrator explained FY2027 social service funding agreements are the second year of a two-year cycle and that the amounts remain the same as last year. "This is year 2 of our 2 year funding cycle... This year... we approve same amounts as last year and everything is included in the FY '27 budget," the administrator said.
Staff reminded council that last year the region moved toward a shared application process across neighboring jurisdictions; this resolution approves the previously budgeted amounts for the current year and returns to a scoring process next year. Council approved Resolution 2026-90 unanimously. Staff noted one value of a two-year cycle is predictable budgeting for social service agencies.
