Board recommends an alternate member and finalizes 2026 meeting schedule

At its Jan. 21 meeting the Board of Zoning Appeals voted to recommend Sam Verbosky to the County Council for appointment as an alternate board member. Brent Pomerhn moved the recommendation and Grant Cade seconded; the board recorded 'all "aye"'.
Separately, Grant Cade motioned to keep the board's 2026 meeting dates and times unchanged but to move November's meeting to Nov. 18, 2026; BJ Hunt seconded and the motion passed by unanimous voice vote. Those scheduling decisions and the alternate recommendation complete the board's organizational business for the year.
The recommendation will be forwarded to County Council, which holds appointment authority; the transcript does not record Council action.
