The Council of the Village of Marble Cliff approved O-2721-24, the ordinance making appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, following Ms. Peggy Shanahan’s presentation of the November financial reports.
Ms. Shanahan presented bank reconciliations and income tax receipts for November 2024; after Mr. Matthew R. Jolson moved to approve the financial reports, the motion passed unanimously. "Ms. Shanahan reviewed O-2721-24, An Ordinance to Make Appropriations for Current Expenses and Other Expenditures of the Village of Marble Cliff...for its third reading," the record shows. Mr. Dow T. Voelker moved to approve the ordinance and Ms. Marcia A. Thomas seconded; the ordinance passed unanimously by the five members present.
Council also approved the 2025 meeting schedule after Ms. Shanahan corrected the year on the list. The council included routine fiscal housekeeping and meeting-planning items in the same session; no changes to staffing or appropriations amounts were recorded in the meeting minutes.
