Board approves minutes, elects officers and retains legal counsel
Summary
At the Jan. 22 meeting the Board approved December 2025 minutes, elected Lakisha Woods (Chair), Ron Howard (Vice Chair) and Patrick Rew (Secretary) for 2026, and voted to retain Robert Eherenman as legal counsel and have Lakisha Woods sign the Conflict-of-Interest statement; all votes were unanimous.
The Fort Wayne Board of Zoning Appeals approved its December 2025 minutes and then conducted officer elections and governance items. Rachel Tobin-Smith moved to approve the December minutes and Jay Wilhelm seconded; the motion carried 5-0. Mr. Eherenman called for nominations for board officers; the board then voted unanimously to elect Lakisha Woods as Board Chair, Ron Howard as Board Vice Chair and Patrick Rew as Board Secretary.
The board also voted unanimously to retain Robert Eherenman as legal counsel to the board and to have Lakisha Woods sign the Conflict-of-Interest statement as presented. The minutes record that each motion passed by unanimous vote; no dissent or abstentions are listed.
