Township supervisors said they are preparing an application for a local federal-aid grant to reconstruct Wallbridge Road, estimating the project could be roughly $3,400,000.
A supervisor described the township's experience with prior local federal-aid projects, noted several township roads are designated as local federal-aid routes, and said the Wallbridge application is competitive. "We're probably talking a $3,400,000 project," the supervisor said while outlining grant preparation efforts and plans to seek local legislators' support.
The board discussed how prior investments and a spreadsheet to justify the project will underpin the application. No vote was recorded; staff said they will pursue the grant and report back on application status.
