Allen County approves speed limit changes on Notestine and Barnett roads after InDOT study

Following an InDOT study and completion of the SR37/Notestine Rd project, Allen County approved multiple speed limit postings: Notestine Rd (Thimlar to Roberts) 45 MPH; Notestine Rd (SR37 to Thimlar) 35 MPH; Notestine Rd (Roth to SR37) 45 MPH; Barnett Rd (SR37 to Notestine) 45 MPH. Motion passed 3-0.
Allen County Highway Department Director Bill Hartman recommended several speed limit changes following an InDOT study and the completion of work at State Road 37 and Notestine Road. The commissioners approved the following postings: Notestine Road from Thimlar Road to Roberts Road at 45 MPH; Notestine Road from SR37 to Thimlar Road at 35 MPH; Notestine Road from Roth Road to SR37 at 45 MPH; and Barnett Road from SR37 to Notestine Road at 45 MPH. The motion to approve was carried 3-0.
