Union County seeks more poll workers; training scheduled for AIP and Election Day

Union County officials said they are seeking additional poll workers, with particular need at the Jones Creek precinct. The board’s stated staffing goal is to have four to five poll workers at each precinct on Election Day.
AIP poll worker training was announced for Monday, April 13, 2026 at 5 p.m. at the Voting Center. Election Day poll worker training was scheduled for May 5, 6, and 7, 2026 beginning at 5 p.m. each night. Board members also provided guidance on appropriate attire for poll workers, cautioning against all-red or all-blue outfits and any clothing bearing political messages.
