The Cayuga County Planning Committee on May 8 approved Resolution 5-25-PL-1 awarding a contract to the consultant selected to implement the Village of Moravia’s NY Forward Small Project Grant Fund.
Director of Planning and Economic Development Kari Terwilliger and Senior Planner Evan Tuthill told the committee the county executed the state contract on behalf of Moravia, released the RFP for consultant services on March 25, opened bids April 23 and selected a consultant. The grant program is funded at $300,000 to regrant to small businesses and property owners for downtown mixed-use and commercial property improvements. The resolution was moved by Legislator Elane Daly, seconded by Tom Winslow, and approved unanimously by the committee.
