The Hall County Planning Commission on Oct. 6 accepted a request to table a variance that would let the Caneybrooke residential development install two monument entrance signs. Katie Greenway, planning and zoning administrator, said "the applicant has requested to table the request to the November 17, 2025 Planning Commission meeting." The motion to table, made by Frank Sosebee and seconded by André Castleberry and Stan Hunt, passed 4-0 (Davidson absent).
The property, a previously approved planned residential development rezoned in December 2021, is under construction. The commission did not take further action on sign standards and left consideration of monument signs to the Nov. 17 hearing.
