Susan Bevers informed commissioners they were invited to the Brownstown Redevelopment Commission meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Brownstown Town Hall and said Rumpke supplied a continuing bond for the county road by the Medora Landfill. Bevers said an affidavit of completion related to the work release center requires signatures from Drew (Commissioner Markel) and Hans (Hans C. Eilbracht) to comply with the trust indenture and bond.
Sheriff Meyer distributed the Jackson County Sheriff's Department monthly report to the commissioners. Matt Reedy announced open enrollment for employee insurance will be Nov. 25–27, 2024. Hans reported that the October Treasury Report was delayed and that staff will circulate it as soon as possible.
