During its Dec. 10, 2024 meeting, the Tioga County Board of Commissioners recorded resignations from Tiffany Raymond (Prothonotary & Clerk of Courts, eff. 12/3/24) and Sunni Medina (Human Services, eff. 12/6/24), and noted the upcoming retirement of 911 Dispatcher Scott Shutt effective Jan. 7, 2025. The board then approved the hire of Valerie Bechtel as a full-time administrative assistant in Emergency Services at $15.00 per hour with benefits, and approved the promotion of Riley God to full-time Corrections Officer at $20.78 per hour with benefits.
The board also approved status changes for five Emergency Services employees (Carter Strange, Rob Satterly, Mariah Swan, Jonathan Perez, Tyler Belz) who completed training and testing; each will be full-time Emergency CallTakers for 911 and receive an additional $1.00 per hour. The personnel actions were moved, seconded and passed unanimously by the three commissioners present.
