Town Manager Tim Stevens told the Selectboard that the APP facility now employs about 35 people and that the site27s internal wastewater system collects and recycles process water so that, he said, only bathroom waste currently enters the town27s system. Tim said APP is finalizing contracts with DOW (described in the report as "Department of War").
Selectwoman Sue Collins asked for the chemical formula used at the APP site and noted that the facility's Industrial Discharge Permit paperwork had not been signed by Brian Sullivan. The board discussed follow-up steps and asked Town Manager Tim Stevens to press for a copy of the discharge documentation and any necessary permit signatures.
