Wayne County Authorizes Up-to-$503,158 Addition to Stryker EMS Lease for New Ambulances

Wayne County authorized an amendment to its Flex Financial (Stryker) lease agreement to add additional equipment for four ambulances currently on order. The board recorded an amended total annual cost not to exceed $503,158 and directed the Madam Chair to execute the agreement subject to County Attorney approval.
The equipment list identified in board materials includes power gurneys, a power-load system, Lifepak monitor/defibrillators, stair chairs, Lucas CPR devices and related peripherals and service support. The resolution notes the county is in year three of a 10-year lease and that the additional equipment is needed for ambulances due in the first half of 2026. The motion to adopt was moved by Mr. Kolczynski and seconded by Mrs. Rice and adopted on roll call.
