Karen Ambroz, Director of Real Property Tax Services, told the Finance Committee Jan. 13 that December activity included 238 property transfers and that total transfers for 2025 were approximately 2,900.
Ambroz also reported a pending state-level exemption for severely disabled veterans. She said law changes under consideration at the state level may make the exemption mandatory statewide rather than an optional local exemption; if passed it would not take effect until the 2027 assessment roll.
