BZA recertifies rules, elects 2026 officers and retains legal counsel
Summary
The Board recertified and ratified its Rules of Procedure, elected Adam Day (Chair), Ron Kohart (Vice Chair), Patrick Rew (Secretary) and Dan Gabbard (Alternate), and voted to retain Robert Eherenman as legal counsel; all votes were unanimous.
During the Jan. 21 meeting the board took several governance actions. The board approved the November 2025 minutes and recertified and ratified its Rules of Procedure for consistency: Jerry Ehle moved to approve the minutes, Dan Gabbard seconded; Adam Day nominated recertification of the Rules of Procedure and David Bailey seconded that motion. Both votes carried 4-0.
The board also conducted officer elections for 2026. Robert Eherenman called nominations and the board elected Adam Day as Chair, Ron Kohart as Vice Chair, Patrick Rew as Secretary and Dan Gabbard as Governing Board Alternate by unanimous votes. Finally, the board voted 4-0 to retain Robert Eherenman as legal counsel and authorized Adam Day to sign a Disclosure and Conflict-of-Interest Statement presented by Mr. Eherenman.
