Administrator Basler outlines program priorities, Woodlot lease negotiations, web consolidation and audit delays

County Administrator Frank Basler distributed a list of immediate and secondary municipal program priorities and project leads, including leasing 32 Belmont Street, the Woodlot lease (ending June 30, 2026), a federal funds management program, courthouse rent-equation work, procurement programs, and a fire-engine repair program.
Basler also reported that Boston South Development has contacted the county about the Woodlot lease expiring June 30 and that he will convene the Wood Lot negotiating committee to discuss next steps. He said the county will consolidate 4-H/Extension Services web content into the county website to meet federal digital accessibility requirements, that the county dredge is currently working in Harwich after recent work in Falmouth, and that audits for FY2023–FY2025 are delayed following the acquisition of Melanson Heath by CBiz; the county will post audit results when available.
