Commissioners authorize leasing process for 32 Belmont Street and related steps including appraisal and broker contract

Commissioner Gregory M. Hanley moved, and Commissioner Jared L. Valanzola seconded, a package of motions to: declare approximately 9,800 square feet of the building available for disposition by lease under MGL Chapter 30B §16; authorize sending availability letters to the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) and to the City of Brockton under MGL Chapter 34 §14; schedule a public hearing on leasing; contract with Appraisal Company of New England to complete a lease appraisal; and authorize the County Administrator to finalize and sign a broker contract subject to County Counsel approval. Each motion passed unanimously.
