The Plymouth County Commissioners unanimously approved amendments Feb. 26 to the countymunicipal vehicle procurement bid, accepting 2026 model-year pricing for multiple manufacturers and adding equipment and specialty bodies. Motions covered pricing for Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/RAM (Colonial South Automotive), Ford (Colonial Municipal Group), Nissan (Colonial Nissan), and additions for aftermarket equipment and aerial devices awarded to Liberty Chevrolet and other vendors.
The actions update bid pricing for dozens of vehicle models (including pursuit-rated variants and electric cargo vans) and add ranges of van equipment, steel and aluminum service bodies, snow-plow and spreader packages, and aerial devices with prices cited in the board materials. Commissioners said the approvals will allow county departments and member communities to purchase from updated bid schedules.
