The Clark County Board of Commissioners voted to authorize a five-year Memorandum of Agreement with Auditor of State Keith Faber and Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co. for annual audit services in the amount of $600,000, with the contract covering Jan. 1, 2025 through Dec. 31, 2029. The resolution lists $112,000 specifically for the 12/31/2025 annual audit and identifies the General Fund as the funding source.
County Administrator Jennifer Hutchinson told the board the expense is higher than typical because the audit is a federal audit "due to the number of grants Clark County receives." Commissioner Charles A. Patterson moved the resolution; Commissioners Lohnes and Rittenhouse seconded and voted yes, and the measure passed unanimously.
