Selectman Ray Gorman asked whether weekly project meetings would be scheduled with project managers and whether Consolidated (Fidium) would remove or bury old telephone lines; the board discussed possible equipment storage options for contractor Sicard and past concerns about contractors leaving debris behind. Tim Stevens said he had provided leads for equipment staging and that logistics depend on Fidium's schedule.
The board also discussed whether Cranes and other staging costs were minimized by digging test pits first to avoid unnecessary crane charges, and members emphasized improved project communication and recurring coordination meetings.
