Stevens said the plow purchase request arrived too late to be funded from the warrant and that "TJ bought tires out of his tire budget" because the highway crew needed different hubs and narrower tires for sidewalk plowing. The board did not direct a formal budget transfer at the meeting because Stevens said the costs were covered out of existing departmental budgets.
